Razors color pattern

Hello my dear readers once again!

I’ve been thinking about these Razors I have and been looking for some ideas for distinctive color pattern.

Sadly though there were only a few inspiring color schemes… apparently Rhinos and Razors don’t generally enjoy such love from hobbyist. The old schemes above are from the golden RT era.

If I may give you a friendly advice, do not assemble the razorback’s turret before you paint it… I mean, that is one hell of a job then.

I think I’ll go with that scheme on the right. It’ll look good enough for me!

I also found this one below for a fair price of 16 euros! I’m still not sure what to do with it, but I am quite intrigued to make it chaos Leman Russ.

It has quite heavy paint on it already so giving it a new undercoat seems a bit stupid… maybe I’ll just fill it with green stuff and make it chaos!

Thank you, Remos.

Razor edges

A quick shorty update for now. I talked about those Razors I have, and I found them! They were so covered in dust I needed to wash them and now I’m just waiting them to dry so I can spray them. I’m still waiting for a TL-lascannon I ordered, but I’m still lacking one of them.

Yes. I needed to remove some hatches and glue new ones in place, the old were in such a bad shape.

But anyway, cheers!

Herald Astartes

New artwork abound.

Hello you all! Here I have some new(ish) artwork for the grimdark.

Space marine in the image is the herald Charalazos of the 3rd company of the Scarlet Beasts space marine chapter. Charalazos wields the fabled truesilver sword “Bluemoon Blade”, acquired by the chapter in 480.M34 from the space hulk Pestilent Carrion.

I haven’t really paid a lot attention to this herald, but I enjoyed drawing it. I think I’ll probably try more somethign like this. The space marines are however rather hard to draw as their size when compared to human is a bit off.

Practice makes perfect!

Gregora sector

Fan-made sector in the Segmentum Ultima

Hell yeah babies! I have had this one up and running for some time, but I’ll introduce you dear readers into it here too.

Behold, the Gregora sector!

Yes well… It probably isn’t the very best name for a sector, but that is not the point anyway! Gregora sector is my one-man project I have been working on for a while now. My goal here is to create and write the history of an entire Imperial sector all the way from M34 to M41. Above I have this map I created with Artflow-app on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition -tablet. I do have a little perversion towards all kinds of maps so I might just do this again as it happens to be made in a little small resolution… shame on me. The map was inspired of the well-known and well-liked Eisenhorn series’ map about the Scarus sector written by Dan Abnett in early 2000s. Now as I look the map… I really think I should just do it all again… it is a bit plain to be honest. Continue reading “Gregora sector”
