Hello you all! Here I have some new(ish) artwork for the grimdark.
Space marine in the image is the herald Charalazos of the 3rd company of the Scarlet Beasts space marine chapter. Charalazos wields the fabled truesilver sword “Bluemoon Blade”, acquired by the chapter in 480.M34 from the space hulk Pestilent Carrion.
I haven’t really paid a lot attention to this herald, but I enjoyed drawing it. I think I’ll probably try more somethign like this. The space marines are however rather hard to draw as their size when compared to human is a bit off.
Practice makes perfect!
Well, well, well. So I did unbox those old figures from my boxes and spred them on the table.
Here are few pics of what I’m about to work on in the future:

Fan-made sector in the Segmentum Ultima
Hell yeah babies! I have had this one up and running for some time, but I’ll introduce you dear readers into it here too.
Behold, the Gregora sector!
Yes well… It probably isn’t the very best name for a sector, but that is not the point anyway! Gregora sector is my one-man project I have been working on for a while now. My goal here is to create and write the history of an entire Imperial sector all the way from M34 to M41. Above I have this map I created with Artflow-app on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition -tablet. I do have a little perversion towards all kinds of maps so I might just do this again as it happens to be made in a little small resolution… shame on me. The map was inspired of the well-known and well-liked Eisenhorn series’ map about the Scarus sector written by Dan Abnett in early 2000s. Now as I look the map… I really think I should just do it all again… it is a bit plain to be honest. Continue reading “Gregora sector”
This very first blog spot happens to be here, because WordPress apparently wants me to have it. Well, might just as well make some use of it.
So few years back I had this idea of finally making a complete Warhammer 40k army. All painted and stuff. I had just gone to work and it seemed, to me at least, that I have infinite amount of money. Especially after six years of school and unemployment, the first few pays were literally overwhelming. So. What else than 40k then, eh?
The thing just happens to be, that I still don’t have that fully painted and armed 40k army. Since then my 5th Edition (Blood Angels) army list has been made redundant by rules updates and new codexes. I had buried those minis deep under everything else, mainly under Magic: the Gathering cards of what I got really excited just a few years back.
Now as I moved to a new city, I of course found those minis and thought: why haven’t these been painted? I thought I had a plan for them. Now I have settled in my new home and got my new school up and running pretty neatly, I think I should focus on the minis then.
So that is what this blog will be about. Warhammer 40k minis, but also about 40k lore and artwork that I seem to do at times when I’m all too inspired about the grim darkness of the 41st millennium.
